Sharon is an alumnus of Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) having graduated with an LLB
(Honours-Upper Division) Degree. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of
Law and is attached to the firm’s Corporate, Commercial and Conveyancing Department. She specializes
in banking and finance, corporate and commercial matters, real estate/conveyancing transactions where
she advises real estate developers and advises on corporate governance matters.
Notable contribution
• Advising a UK Corporate entity on the aspects of a joint venture in the agriculture space in partnership with the Kisumu County valued at USD 6,500,000.
• Advising and assisting Counsel in representing an acquirer in an asset-based and share acquisition valued at Kenya Shillings One Billion (KShs.1,000,000,000.00).
• Advising and assisting Counsel in the representation of a corporate entity for the creation of a Special Purpose Vehicle for the construction of Fifty Four Apartments (54) valued at Kenya Shilling One Hundred and Sixty Eight Million (KSHs. 168,000,000.00) the purpose reviewing.
• Assisting Counsel in Restructuring and Amalgamation of a company registered in Kenya,Uganda, Tanzania, Mauritius, Nigeria and South Africa.
• Acting for various vendors in the sale, transfer and leasing of residential, retail, commercial and industrial premises. Handling general conveyancing and property due diligence matter.
• Advising and representing various clients on estate planning and management- drafting and registering Wills, Powers of Attorney and Trusts.
• Representing clients in a wide range of commercial advisory matters, in relation to employment and labour relations and company law.
