Rosemary is an alumnus of Kenyatta University; Parklands Campus having graduated with an LLB (Honours- Upper Division) Degree and the University of Bristol (UK) with an LLM (Merit) Degree in International Law. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and is a Certified Commercial Mediator with Strathmore Dispute Resolution Centre (SDRC) and Facilit8 (UK). She is attached to the firm’s Dispute Resolution Department where she is engaged in a wide range of civil and commercial litigation matters.

In her pass time, she is engaged in mentorship and empowerment programs and is a fervent believer of Transparency - Integrity – Honesty and these are her guiding values.


Notable contribution
• Assisting Counsel in the representation of a Canadian national in Kenya, in a child custody matter where the Canadian parent got physical custody of the minor and is currently residing in Canada with the minor

• Assisting Counsel in the preparation of court pleadings in the Presidential Petition filed in Odinga & 16 others v Ruto & 10 others; Law Society of Kenya & 4 others (Amicus Curiae) (Presidential Election Petition E005, E001, E002, E003, E004, E007 & E008 of 2022 (Consolidated)) [2022] KESC 54 (KLR) (Election Petitions)

• Representing a Media House before the Media Council of Kenya Complaints Commission in a Complaint filed against it for the pulling down of an article and the Complaints Commission found that doing so would be a disproportionate remedy to the impugned article

• Representing a corporate entity before the Competition Authority of Kenya in an investigation been carried out in the steel sector

• Defending various corporate entities in court in employment, commercial and civil disputes

• Advising and representing various clients on estate planning and management- drafting and registering Wills, Powers of Attorney and Trusts.

• Representing clients in a wide range of commercial advisory matters, in relation to employment and labour relations and company law.
