Ms. Janmohamed is an alumnus of the University of London having graduated with a Bachelors of Laws (LLB) (Honours) Degree and later was admitted as a Barrister at Law (Lincoln’s Inn). She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
Her Professional objective is to contribute to the advancement of Civil and Commercial law practice the rule of Law and access to justice for all Kenyans.
In her pass time, she is enjoys travelling, watching cricket matches, tennis, football, athletics and sports and a nice read of an autobiography or biography.
Achievements
• Only qualified female Cricket Umpire, in Kenya- 1990
• First female to sit on the Kenya Cricket Association committee as an Assistant Secretary.
• The first female chairperson of the Africa Cricket Association
• First female chairperson of Cricket Kenya and first woman in the world to head a Cricket Board
• Recipient of the Mzalendo Award from the H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta of the Republic of Kenya in 2020 for Covid 19 relief work for distribution of food.
